We had some Oscar munchies, of course. 7 layer dip, a cheese ball and piggies in a blanket. Yum.

I busted out laughing.

It IS my superbowl. Not sure how that happened, but it's fun.
I think I did well. That's all I'm sayin as I made some scoring mistakes early on. I need to go over everything tomorrow to be absolutely sure. As far as I can tell, it came down to my brother and I at the end, and I think I pulled it out. But I do really need to re-look everything tomorrow when I'm not tired.
I saw the Ben Stiller thing on YouTube, pretty funny.
One thing though, I suggest that you change your Oscar night menu to Popcorn, Nachos, Raisinettes, Skittles and JuJuBees. I'm just sayin'.
Well, the winner takes home $90.00, and the winner is....MEEEEE!!!! It was a nail biter there at the end. It all came down to the Best Actor award. If Mickey Roarke won, my brother won the pool, but if (block your ears) Sean Penn won, I'd win it. The rapist fan came through for me.

It was really good. My folks came over to drop the boys off and they devoured it. The pibs were really good, too. I like N's idea for snacks, tho. Next year!

I'm trying Glenn after a haitus. I find his new show a little more obnoxious than I like...he's being a performer and I haven't been enjoying him. Never mind the "the world is coming to an end" message you get every night. There's only so much doom and gloom I can take.
Speakin a doom & gloom; supposed to be pushin 90 degrees by thurs here. E-gads, could be in for a hot spring & summer. I saw that the sunspot cycle (as in max # of) is ampn up; so could be due for some hotter summers (been pretty pleasant last couple a yrs).

Wow, that IS toasty. We're warming up on Wed and Thurs, too. 40! Wahoo! I can't believe it's gonna be March on Sunday. You know that saying, "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb"? How's that ol saying go in Texas? Something like "March comes in like a lamb... and then you fry for 7 months"?
I do believe that's it. And if we don't get some rain soon, fryn might be a real consequence.
