So I took my first sub assignment! (It's just for a playground parapro)..but I don't have to worry about the kids in the morn or afternoon as it's 10:30 to 3. I figure it's a good way to get my feet wet. It's Wednesday.
Lol...I just told Ben that his tonsillectomy will take about 15 minutes. You should have seen the look on his face! Then he goes, "to take them out CAREFULLY?" So cute.
Well, enduring all that rain yesterday paid off..what a beautiful day today! We're taking 10 kids to play putt putt and to an indoor playscape thingy at 5:00 tonight for Benny's bday party. Gonna be chilly, but we can handle it. Off to Costco to buy the cake!
Thinkin about the Havics and their garage sale today! :)
The only thing that I can make out of his statement is if he's talking about being in solitary confinement for life, not getting any sunlight, and therefore, no Vitamin D.
I'm not sure if they do or not. (reptiles) We've had this converstaion with our pediatrician. (we're looking for a new one BTW)
Dr. R: If the kids don't drink milk or have any kind of Dairy products, where do they get calcium from?
Us: Leafy green vegetables.
Dr. R: Oh. That's fine but where to they get Vitamin D?
Us: Uh, the sun? We live in Texas.
Anyway, Vitamin D is necessary, but I'm not sure what it does. It may very well have to do with digestion. But, 20 minutes of sunlight is more than enough to get all of the Vitamin D that you need.
Tonsilless Ben is preferring to write everything he has to say, as opposed to speaking. My fav so far is "I think those donut holes are soft anof." haha! (he can only eat soft food)
So Reck, did you happen to see they have a new Clue out? Apparently you get some clues via text message. I swear...can they think of yet another way to play this game? I think not.

Looking at that last comment, it didn't come out very well. That is a great sunset. It's got to be cool to get that kind of a view every night.
Ha...funny skit! Poor Fred can't seem to quite impersonate Obama, can he?
Awesome! Sunsets ARE very beautiful, especially w/ water in the foreground.

Tony: "Mom, ya know Bernie Madoff? Well..if they send him to jail for the rest of his life...doesn't he need UV rays to help with his digestion?"
I never knew he was so concerned about Bernie Madoff's digestive tract.
The only thing that I can make out of his statement is if he's talking about being in solitary confinement for life, not getting any sunlight, and therefore, no Vitamin D.
You got it! I think he heard reptiles need sun for their digestion. Not sure if that's true, or not. Not that Madoff is a reptile or anything...
Woke up with a sore throat. It's either sympathy pains for B, or I'm catching a cold. I'm going with the latter.
It's sympathy pains.
It's ice cream city for you guys now.

What about vampires?
I assured him that Bernie will likely get some time out in the sunlight.
That's funny, Nestor. Your poor doctor...(just kiddin)
I read that vampires generally take vitamin supplements. There's one recommended for them...I think it's called Centrum Vampires. I've seen it at CVS.
Tonsilless Ben is preferring to write everything he has to say, as opposed to speaking. My fav so far is "I think those donut holes are soft anof." haha! (he can only eat soft food)
Reck, I think vampires get Vitamin D from their victims. Bwahahahaha
Thats a big word, mot sure I could spell it.
Yes, blood..it's the blood. Very spooky.
Ok, our pics...

Holy heat wave! Those are some warm temps! We've been toppin out in the 40s. Fire tonight!
Interesting pics..S and D on the same wave length it seems. Which can mean good things for D as she has been the pickin queen!
I was gonna freak if S guessed Liz out!
Totals:
R: 34
S: 35
D: 28
L: 49
(tonight's):
R: 6, S: 7, D:5, L:7
Interesting that it was that hot there. I think we were mid 80's today.
I believe the actual temp didn't exceed 92, but it was so humid TWC was showin "feels like" 101.
And it did.
So Reck, did you happen to see they have a new Clue out? Apparently you get some clues via text message. I swear...can they think of yet another way to play this game? I think not.
