We have a dry erase easel where we write notes, reminders, "to do" stuff, etc. Last night before I went to bed I realized Ben hadn't done his homework, so I wrote him a note. When I got up in the morning, this is what I saw. Lol...the force IS strong with him! :) Maybe I should start having 'em call me "my master".

Whenever you call them, they should approach you, get on one knee, bow their head and say, "What is thy bidding, my master."
Nestor, I think Ben was being sarcastic. :-)
Nestor, see the Love Always, Barack thread, as there's unanswered questions.
LOL! That kid has a gift.
Lol Nestor! I'll consider that!
It's 80 here!!! (30 above average)
My friend who is recently back to work, based out of Houston, just posted on facebook "Why does Houston feel like a big sweaty armpit?" My favorite response was..."I told you, it's not an armpit, it's a mouth. It's hot, wet, and it smells bad. I guess that's kind of like an armpit."
Lol!
Too bad Houston's like a sweaty armpit. Last year, Austin was like an oven, but this year has been and will be fantastic. We've been getting 3-4 days of 80 degrees and sunny, a day of hard rains and 3-4 more days of sun. It looks like we may get some rain tonight, and then we'll probably get 3-4 more days of sun. Great!
Glad to hear it! We've got one more day of this and then we're coolin off.
Our picks:

btw, got us some frozen White Castle burgers for dinner and I'd hafta say they looked better on the Food Network.
I swear. I kept picking heroes and they kept losing, so I finally give up and they freakin win. I can't seem to catch a break!!!!!!
Mmmm...sliders?? Beware...they'll sneak up on ya later. That's not dinner, that's "It's 2:00 am, I'm drunk and I need food" food.
Totals:
R: 40
S: 58
D: 33
L: 42
I think, w/ villians voted out there two best athletes in a row (and there best player tonite) are doomed, but wat do I know.
Anyhow, I'm closin in on 2nd!
They tasted like those frozen burgers you get from a convenience store; not very good. Maybe it's the microwavin part. But still, they looked sooo good on tv.
Nest has a new thread up btw.
Oh, thanks for the heads up.
Well, they're better fresh from White Castle. But still..we call em sliders and they're kinda a running joke. Pun intended.

Reck, I think you'll like this.

I just don't get it. Yeah it was warm today, but I'm sitting out here on my balcony with my laptop and WIFI wearing a light jacket. This is great weather for Houston (yeah, our high was about 80 today as well, though) ...
Nice breeze too!
Hmmm..I dunno, Stan. It's probably that she's not used to it..she lives in Salt Lake City..maybe that's it.
No Linda,
Houston REALLY IS like a sweaty armpit. ;)
Mmmm...bacon flavored baby formula. I especially like the pic of the little pig baby w/ the bottle.
Houston *usually* is "hell hole" (a NY Knicks fan right before we (the Rockets) won a championship over them in the finals), but this year and last year has been one of our colder (and now, cooler) seasons ...
Houston is humid to the extreme. BUT, it's no hell hole, it's a fine Texas city.
This summer will be no exception. Houston will be "hell hole" again. It happens every year.
BTW: Reck has a new post up on his Too blog.

Does this happen to have something to do with Nestor's "celeb cheezeburger" site he was trying to point to????
Bummer about State :(
About State. Sorry 'bout that Linda, but I'd really like to see Butler do it. It'd be a great story. I also think it's cool that they're essentially playing home games. I'm sure that was the difference.
Thanks guys...I heard about the game before I even got outta the church. (I was in church for THREE HOURS tonight. I'd talk about it, but I'm not completely out of shock yet.) Happy Easter.
Happy Easter to those that celebrate it (though Y you want to celebrate the death of Jesus is beyond me.)
Happy Easter Linda! You'll have to 'splain about your church comment yesterday. Intriguing.
Stan,
Easter celebrates the resurrection of Christ, not his death. His death was good, since he took our sins upon himself, but the real celebration is that death could not hold him, and it can not hold anyone who holds to his teachings, be they Jew or Gentile.
I can't do a back bend. I just tried. I am old.
Happy Resurrection Day!
Pretty solid opening day. Mets and Tigers win. 'Stros, well, there's always tomorrow.
Nestor -
> Easter celebrates the resurrection of Christ, not his death.
His *SUPPOSED* resurrection.
> His death was good, ...
Only so he could be (supposedly) resurrected????
LOL!!!!
RIP Butler: Nice try yous guys ...
PING Nestor: So now that Butler's dead, do you think that in 3 days they'll be resurrected????
Just curious. :-)
It was one heck of a gm!
Your lack of understandin the Gospel of Christ is understandable Stan. Most don't.
Rech whines -
> Your lack of understandin the Gospel of Christ ...
Dud, I only try to understand what he preached. And what he preached was *VERY* liberal.
Nestor -
> His (Jesus) death was good, ...
Because it silenced him (because he was a liberal and preached tolerance), *RIGHT* Nestor????

Tell her that I know this place in SLC where she can get aWAY from it ALL!!!!
It's the local synagogue ("Yeah, I'm a Jew and I grew up in Utah. My dad wore a belt buckle that was the Star of David. We held synagogue in the back of a FotoMat. I asked my Rabbi, Rabbi Christianson, does god love me? He answered - "Of course he does Rosanne. He just doesn't want to make a commitment." - Rosanne Barr)
Please forward this to your friend, Linda. :-)
Oh and another great place up there - Juniors Tavern (and the Tap Room ain't so bad either (same said for the Zepher (if these places still exist up there)))
Rabbi Christianson? That's funny.
Stan states c/o Jesus:
"I only try to understand what he preached. And what he preached was *VERY* liberal."
Please expand on this. Or will you take your normal tack of makin statements w/out backin them up w/ ANY evidence? I'm bettin on the latter.
Reck,
I think Stan was thinking of the sayings of Jesus in 2 Opinions Chapter 3 Verse 12 which states, "Give unto Caesar which is Caesar's, Unto God which is God's, unless you're poor. If that is the case, the rich will give more than half of their income and Caesar will give unto the poor after he builds some statues, the coliseum and a few bathhouses."
Reck, I've already expanded on this elsewhere.
