I was in aisle 11 the other day and saw this. There must have been some leak in the seal in the freezer door. I thought there was something very artistic about the crystal formations, the toppling over cartons, the shadows, etc., so I looked to see if anyone was looking and took pictures of the freezer section in Kroger.

What, you have freezers in Michigan???? Who (from Texas) would've thought it even a possibility. Or a need. :-)
Har har!!
Linda,
Star Wars in Concert is a concert with a symphony orchestra playing the music to Star Wars with one of the largest LCD screens in the world showing clips from the movie and a laser light show timed to the music. Its awesomeness scale is off the charts. Anthony Daniels (C3PO) is the host and he guides you through a semi-chronological tour through the movies. Around the arena was memorabilia, characters and setting backdrops that you could take pictures with. The R2D2 actually moved and there were live people in the Boba Fett and Stormtrooper costumes. Ryan doesn't really like those though. When we were at Disney he stayed away from the live characters also.
I'm not sure if it will be near you anytime soon.

OK. Just checked. In July it will be in Hamilton, ON, London, ON and Grand Rapids, MI. Not sure how convenient it is to go to Ontario, or if it's better to go to the Grand Rapids show.
Heh Heh..."checked to sde if anyome was lookin"
Petty cool shot actually. Hopefully they won't start callin you the "crazy camera lady"..to your face; they prob alerady call you that when your outta earshot.
Next time I'll copy your quotes...geez im a sucky btyper.
Ok, it's WAR, Nestor. I've been catching up on all the Star Trek movies recently ...
Your move.
BTW Linda: Next time you're down here visiting our favorite LOSERS (Nesty and Recky), demand that they turn you on to our local ice cream: Blue Bell.
They're holding out on you.
Bluebell's the best ice cream in the country because the cows think Brenham's heaven.
Funny you should say that, Stan. I've had Blue Bell once and guess who gave it to me? Nope! Glenn Beck! After that meet n greet a couple summers ago, he gave out little sample cups. VERY yummy!
Thanks Reck. I think I can live with "crazy camera lady"...I suffer for my art.
Well, Blue Bell is the bomb. We went last 4th of July to the Blue Bell factory for a tour. Pretty awesome. For a $3 tour you get at least $3 worth of ice cream. We got more. It was so hot while we were waiting in line some executive looking dude started handing out ice cream sandwiches and the staff set up tents for people to wait under. Really awesome company, really awesome ice cream.
Stan,
Not sure why it's "WAR". I'm not much of a Trekkie, but I have enjoyed some of the Star Trek movies, especially the latest one.
Stan (or anyone else that can help!)...need your advice on something. I had some issues last year getting kicked out of live feeds/chat rooms on the web. Lately, I get booted from facebook while gaming. Thinking about downloading a different browser to try, like Firefox or Google Chrome. I have Explorer now. Thoughts on which? Both? Can I switch back and forth depending on if I'm having troubles? Don't know much about this. Thanks.
I'm not the tech guru that Stan is but I will say that I'm pretty satisfied w/ Firefox; rarely does it foul up. Plus it's got that little fox wrapped around the globe decal, which is cool.
Lol..thanks honey! I AM all about the icons!
A lot of people really prefer Firefox to internet explorer. I'm used to IE so I stick with that, even on our second computer which has both. I don't know anything about google chrome. I didn't know it was a web browser, I though it was something like windows media player.

Do I know how to get a party started or what???? :-)
Linda, don't know about the getting kicked off of forums (well, actually I do know about it ... :-) ), but I really love Chrome. IE is really slow, and haven't tried out Firefox that much (but I what I have tried of it, I think it's slower than Chrome), and Opera isn't a slouch either.
Yes, you can install as many browsers as you want (but of course, you can only have one default browser) so do experiment.
Nestor, I finally caught up to watching the last Star Trek, finished watching it just before I checked out this thread for tonight. And I agree, it was AWESOME!!!! As I went through the movies (in order) I kept on going "this is the best one yet", and that thought never stopped.
I think I've seen Star Trek I, III, IV, V, VI and the latest one. I thought V was pretty awful, but enjoyed the others. I really liked VI, but the newest one was the best one in my opinion.
I've never been big into the TV shows though. I've always liked Star Wars better, buth the Trek movies have been good.
The Star Wars movies are excellent as well (well I really can only speak of the few that I've seen, I guess I should search out that library next(US).)

"That's the ticket!!!!" Just keep sending him Blue Bell ice cream so he doesn't think he has a need to visit Texas ever again. Great idea, Linda!!!!
Thanks for the info. I went ahead and downloaded GC..and then I sat there staring at the page not knowing what to do. Lol. I have to read up on it apparently. It didn't even have a URL window at the top..just a search window. ?? I'll learn..just hoped it would be self explanatory. Gonna have to sort out the "favorites", too. Can't do without that.
Firefox is very simple, fast, has yahoo (which i rarly use) on the task bar and provides you bookmarks (favorites) options...I'm just sayn...
Linda, in Chrome the address dialog box and the search dialog box is integrated. You can place an address into it and it will go to the address. But if it doesn't recognize what you typed in there as an address, it will switch to a google search mode. You'll get used to it, I think.
BTW: I have now read up on your recent comments on my blog, but you see no response from me there because IMHO there was nothing worth responding to.
(by the "your comments" thing, I don't mean only Linda's recent comment on my blog. I'm including Reck and Nestor in the "your".)
I found a comment over there (my blog) from Reck that I found worthy of responding to (and I did.) It's in the "An old observation" thread.
Love this!
