Good Morning!

I just had to laugh at this forecast for the morning commute tomorrow. Holy smokes!! Will anyone make it to work alive?! I love the fog, to boot!:

Tuesday
Cloudy. Rain and snow with areas of fog through mid morning...then light freezing rain and snow possibly mixing with light rain during the morning...then snow. Light glazing expected. Snow accumulations around an inch.

We're supposed to have fog here tonight and tomorrow, hang on whilst I step out on my balcony ... no fog yet. It, of course, will not freeze here.

I understand that (must be the Lions vibe) the Pistons are starting to play well too. What do ya'll think about T-Mac (Tracy McGrady)? Will he be 4 you what he wasn't 4 us?

Crazy weather this year. I think Al Gore has been in my hometown of Danbury, CT since they've gotten 5+ feet of snow in the last 3 weeks. A normal winter was about 3-4 feet for the whole winter. He might have been speaking in Austin last week as well. It was probably in the 20's at night all last week with highs in the low 40's. Don't roll your eyes Linda...that's pretty cold for us. I was actually hoping for some snow, but the precipitation came on both ends of the cold we had where it was a little warmer.

Ha! I would never roll my eyes! (K, maybe I would, but I didn't. I'm too tickled to see you here. :)) We've escaped a lot of that snow that nailed the east. Pretty moderate winter for us so far..no complaints.

Not sure about that player, Stan. I don't follow the Pistons very closely. More a fair weather fan.

Dud, climate change is about extremes in weather, not whether it gets snow where it normally snows in winter.

You need to find some other vehicle to defend the oil corporations.

If the Pistons are starting to play well, isn't that "fair weather" 4 them 2????

T-Mac is a cat ya'll got from us. Very talented, but got injured and never was the same, but probably was never as good as he could be even when healthy. A change of scenery was a necessity 4 him.

T-Mac will wow you at times but disappoint you when it matters (crunch time). Ton a talent when he was healthy, generally a good guy... but a choke artist in the playoffs.

Haha..the weatherman just said "look at that! Three chances to reach 32 in the next week!" WAHOO!!!

RecknHavic said...

I'm guessin that's 32 on the up side.

Linda said...

Lol..yes, on the up side! Right now I'll take the 20s. Went grocery shopping yesterday with a wind chill of 4. That's pushin it.

You could just move to Texas and avoid the 4 degree weather. ;)

This thurs, chance of snow here that might rival the coastal '04 (I think it was in '04) snow.

Wow! Yeah, feels like the whole country is in for it this week. It'll be interesting to see the totals. The wind and temps will be killer. Keepin our eye on Tuesday night into Wednesday. I'll keep you posted!!

We actually have in Houston's forecast, a like 40% chance of snow, but on Friday. It's gonna be the coldest of the season tomorrow night, they say mid 20's.

I'm so glad I'm not vacationing in Texas right now! I'd be so mad!!

My friend, Matt, just went to Arizona this weekend and lucked out with 70s. My brother just got back from Panama and had great weather, too. Vacationing in the winter is so iffy if you're just going for a short time. (Like not staying in Florida for a month, like retirees.)

Speaking of old people, (haha), my parents' 50th anniversary is this Friday! My dad always still says how cute she is..they're awesome. I'll try to do a post on it, if I get some good pics.

Congratulate them 4 me. My parents actually made it through that 50th. event, I know it's big ...

We actually have sports broadcasters here praying 4 ice storms in Dallas, so the NFL will put SuperBowls in Houston instead in the future.
