It's unidentified...that's all I'm sayin

I thought this was kinda cool. On the night of July 4th, we noticed a light in the sky that didn't look like a star. It was goldish in color and was larger. Then it started moving, so there ya go. Sure, it could have been a plane, but it was moving pretty slowly at first. I started taking a few pictures, and while I did, it's speed picked up and it seemed to go noticeably higher in altitude. Sort of an "up, up...and away!" Not thinking it was Superman. Here's one of the pictures. Weird, huh? The other two pics were just small gold dots...but this one, THIS one...!
And what's with the lines? They weren't on my other two pictures.

It looks like a close-up of some sort of worm. If that was something in the sky, then, well, there most be some explanation. I'm guessing it's not little green men though.

Weird, lights in the sky on the fourth of July :)

Seriously tho, that is strange. I'd classify it as an unidentifiable object.

W/ spell ck I am good...unidentifiable..never woulda got that right in a million yrs.

What, you won't go so far to say it was flying? Prefer to call it a UO? Make you feel less crazy? :)

Yes, spell check is your friend.

This is proof positive that other civilizations (far our superiors) exist.

The lines..obviously computer chip technology (which we stole from "them").

Ok..ok..I admit it IS weird.

I'll even go as far as to say it's an unidentifiable FLYING object; or simply a camera illusion.

Well, I'd say a little of both to be fair.

Linda, do you know what the linear streaks (in the backdrop) are?

Nestor said...

Stan,

I'm thinking powerlines, but I'm sure Linda would have a better answer.

No power lines. It was over the lake. The lines only were visible in the picture.

I just looked at the regular size picture (click on the picture if you haven't), and on my "1st. impression", the only thing it reminds me of is the rings of Saturn.

OK, I clicked on the picture, and I'm wondering. How far north were you? Do you you see the northern lights? Pretty strange. Did you somehow have slow shutter time on?

Anonymous said...

Not the northern lights, but I think you're dead on w/ the shutter speed. Those were my thoughts, too.

Linda, that's a great slideshow you got over there on the *LEFT* side of your blog.

A friend/relative of your's?
