Mornin.

Good lookin group a west coasters. Your neice is a cutie; love the duck. It's always nice to see fam that you don't get to see often, eh?

Nice choice on the club sandwich too. Curious as to what those other dished were.

It's all about the food for me.

Darn things are so hard to eat, tho.

Yep, good seein em. I love my sil..we have a good time together. My brother hooked my rents up with a web cam, so they'll enjoy that, talkin w/ the babe.

If you're really curious, I'll tell you. 3 salads, 2 hot turkey and gravy, 2 burgers, and honestly I don't think I even noticed what my dad got.

I'm glad you guys had a good time. It's always good to get back together with family. For me its also good to get life back to normal as well.

Well Kwame's gone, and who replaces him? Yet another Democrat mayor. When was the last time Detroit had a Republican mayor? 1930?

Again, if it's food related, I'm curious.

Right now havin a chili dog (no bun, turkey chili, 2% cheese) and a peach for lunch. Not too bad.

Fixin to get crazy busy w/ work. FINALLY!

I'm a big fan of life back to normal. I only saw them 3 times tho, and really not for very long each time.

Yeah, well, at least he's not Kwame. I don't have a lot of hope for the city unfortunately.

That's funny, I was havin a chili dog the other day and I looked on the can of chili and it was only 10calories per teaspoon. That's not bad at all. My dogs are 45 cal and no fat. K, I'm hungry now.

I did Weight Watchers once. I know you wouldn't be interested, but let me tell you how it works, cuz it's a lot easier than what you're doing.

Basically, they count the calories, fat grams and fiber in pretty much every food imaginable. They assign every food a point value based on those 3 things, and you're allowed a certain amt. of points per day. ie..the hotdogs and buns I use are 2 pts each, condiments are 0, (except mayo and the like). Veggies are 0, fruits are 2, etc. Usually the points allowed are between 21-25 a day. They even have fast food guides, so you know if you grab a #2 at Mickey's, you've eaten 23 pts. It's a pretty cool idea, and seems to work well. Just an fyi..

Thanks for the info. But, not really wantin to diet. Tryn to basically change the way I eat..permanent like. And get a feel on calorie intake (& fat gms, etc). At around 2400 cals a day (give or take) I will lose some weight. Not sure what ttl cals were before (but I know it was way more than the 2500 range). Not to mention the grams from fat (which I'm drastically reducion). And starch..stayn away from most starchy stuff. Appln this to youngest as well.

Now re: the cigs..ave about 17 a day so far. Hey, at a pack & a half (30) that I normally smoke that's a good reduction. I figure I didn't start out smokin pack & a half overnite; so I ain't gonna quit overnite.

Thanks for shown interest. Nice havin someone to bounce this off a.
