Ok, I can't look at myself in camo anymore...on to more leaves! Oh c'mon, humor me...they're almost gone. I especially like when the sky is dark with saturated clouds, but the sun peeks out somewhere and lights up the trees. I kinda got that here. Kinda.
One thing I miss about being up north is the changing of the seasons. When we went to NY and CT last month, we saw how green it was, and I thought how great it would be to go in October. Maybe next year.

Ok, rant time. I had a doc appt. for this afternoon...I made it Friday when I was still feeling really bad. So I'm still sick, but I think it's going away and I don't think I'll need the doctor. So I just called and they're charging me $25.00 for not cancelling 24 hours ahead. It was SUNDAY! They wouldn't have gotten the message till this morning anyway! My co-pay is $20. I'm tempted to show up, and hand em 20 bucks and save myself $5. Now THAT'S frustrating.
Under Obama's health plan that visit would have been 'free', but it would have taken you 2 weeks to get it and your premiums would be $10,000 a year to cover all of the people with debilitating diseases who are forced into the system. I don't know if it's worth going there to save 5 bucks, unless you want to prove a point. But maybe if you go in and explain to them that they were closed yesterday, they may cut you some slack.
I'll have you know I resisted the urge to buy Spam Lite today, cuz I knew I'd get grief for that. I checked..the only oil I have is E.V.O.O. and Smart Balance. And no saltines. Geez, I didn't know I had to get all the extras for this gourmet meal...
Yeah, yeah, I got it. I don't get why you dip in flour before the egg and before the flour/crackers combo, tho. Sounds like double dippin to me.

I appreciate your detailed instructions, but I'm sorry to have to tell you that the verdict wasn't great. Got a thumbs down from B and D, and T was luke warm. I cut it into 10 pieces and had 5 left! D thinks you must chicken fry things to hide the meat you're fryin. I think generally it was too salty for everyone. We drank a lot of milk. Not used to the salty on top of the richness of the breading. Southerners...

We got ghosted/booed last night! You guys do that in your neighborhood? You leave a note explaining, a standard size paper w/ a ghost on it, and a little bag of candy on someone's porch, ring the bell and run. They're supposed to do it to 2 other houses and you put the ghost on your door so people know who's already been ghosted. So that's what we'll be doin tnite. The kids LOVE ringing the doorbell and running.
Glenn really needs to start his Fox show. Because he's not filming the CNN one, he's not showing up in the studio for his radio show which means I can't see him on the web cam. I don't wanna listen to him, I just wanna LOOK at him!
I like your Lone Star flag. Reminds me of a funny thing...in Padre, I was signing up for the parasailing and the gal tells me we're to meet at a certain time on the beach by the Texas flag. I look over to the beach, and there's all these different flags flying and I tell her I don't know what the Texas flag looks like. I've no idea what it means, but it says, "choose no if you are having post layout problems", so I figured it might make it easier to post the pics w/ the dialog.
