I've been passing this tree for awhile now along the road, so I finally threw my camera in the car and stopped today to take a picture. Just thought it was nice.
I was just lookin thru the sacred binder, and I gotta say, Reck, the 4 people you have in Survivor haven't been on the radar at ALL. Things change all the time, but still. So far, very good picks for you. I don't mean CONSIDERING it's you, just...oh whatever.

Hey. Comment on my pretty tree or you'll make me feel bad. I looked like a dork standin on the side of the road in an effort to show Michigan autumn to my 85 degree Texas freak friends.
Sooo.. I stopped by Costco on the way home tonite and got my first ever flu shot.
I pay my 20 bucks and I'm chattin w/ the feller who's givin me the shot and right after the injection he says, "You probably wanna hang out here for 10 or 15 minutes... just in case."
Uh...just in case whaaatt?
He goes on to tell me that some people have a bad reaction to the flu shot.
Uhhh...define "bad" for me please.
THEN he says, "seriously, you'll wanna be here.. just in case."
There's that "just in case" thing again.
What does that mean. Am I gonna have to do a Nicolas Cage a la "The Rock" and jab myself in the heart w/ a 12 inch long needle?
So I do a Costco lap...just in case...
There were no free samples due to it was close to closin time.
It IS a stellar tree...but I expect nothing less than dry sarcasm from you, no worries.

Hey, 40's are no laughing matter. No scoffing here. We're goin up north tonite to drain the pipes so they don't freeze. And if I can get outta bed tomorrow morning at dawn, I'm gonna try my hand at duck hunting. Wish me luck blastin those cute little suckers outta the sky.

L: "How's the Flex selling?" F: "Good! It's a great vehicle." L: "Sure is funny lookin." F: "Sit in it, it's REALLY nice."
So I go to the passenger side and he says, F: "Sit in the drivers side!" L: "Well, I wouldn't be caught DEAD in the driver's seat!" F: "Just sit in it!"
I sit in it and pretend I'm melting in the seat, throw my head back and say loudly... L:"Oh my god, I LOVE it!!!"
He laughed pretty hard, which was good, cuz I thought after that he'd either love me or hate me. I gave him a hard time, but we had fun. (My lease is ending here in a couple months, so I'm out lookin.)
Are all of the 'Detroit' cars in Michigan FlexFuel? I think I will purposely avoid all flexfuel vehicles. If by some chance I ever get a flexfuel vehicle, I will not put ethanol in it unless there is no other choice and I'm pushing the car into the station. And I think I'd only put a few gallons in, so that I could get 'real' gas at the next possible moment.
But it was nice putting $20 in the car the other day and getting over half a tank. I'm used to $20 getting about a quarter of a tank, and I'll be like, 'great, I can get to and from work twice.'
Yeah, SA is way cheaper than here. I don't really know why. Maybe Travis county adds a local tax? I guess that wouldn't explain why Bastrop county (about 300 ft. east of my house) has similar prices though. Anyway, I'd like to go to SA soon, haven't been in a while, and I'll be sure to top off while I'm there.
Have you guys seen the 'drunkBiden' videos. They're pretty funny. It's amazing how this guy manages to belittle himself and everyone around him. He even says that Michelle Obama is more important than Barry H, the lord and high exalted one.
I'm not sure about the one where he's singing and dancing. It looks a whole lot like him though.

I couldn't tell ya what cars are flexfuel. I had to look up the definition if that tells you anything.

They look alittle like a larger version of the Dodge Nitro (which S wants). Maybe one day.
You see, I've got this vehicle rule, till it's underivable or unsafe, we drive it. Tough tho, cause I really want a Dodge Ram 2500 (esp an '04). But until the ol Windstar refuses to start, I'm workin outta it. Well, that and the 2500's need to "age" alittle before we can afford one :)
I thought "The Villages" looked like him. With the hat on it looked like a lot of old white guys, but it did look like Biden too. But there is one (definitely him) where he introduces Obama, (and Michelle) at a rally and something seems off. It seems like he ordered the 'Irish' coffee and said; "keep 'em comin'"
We spent a week at the Villages last year in March. My folks were down there for a month. It is a pretty cool place if you're older and like to be social. I'd move down there just so I could get a pimped out golf cart. (That's all they drive there.)
