Yall look like kids. I must be gettin old.

That fishin shot is a classic. Sooo funny!

Btw, S & I got married in a gazebo too; temps were in the mid 90's as I recall.

It was a running joke that he was gonna bring the fishing rod cuz there was a stream behind the gazebo. Good to know some things never change! :)

Funny, you got married in the heat and honeymooned further south, and we got married in the chill and honeymooned further north. What's wrong with this picture?

Spend nearly 2 hours in the car today. Got stuck in traffic on the highway tryin to get to the airport..had to get off and wind my way down there. ugh. Upside was gas was only 3.29! Wahoo!!

RecknHavic said...

He is a dedicated fisherman.

There is somethin to that north/south thing.

To be honest, couple a hours in the car is kinda normal down in these parts.

And I got ya beat..3.19 today and I heard on the radio 2.89 in south SA.

Just annoying when it takes you an hour and a half to get somewhere and a half hour home. I think I hit every red light in SE Michigan.

Oh, surv.pick reminder..sometime.

So taking into account your George Washington quote..would you ever vote for an atheist running for president?

RecknHavic said...

Yes. In fact I'm sure I have in the past. Bill Clinton comes to mind; tho he's probably an agnostic.

Ttlly unrelated sub...oldest went to orientation for her first job tonite. She'll be workin for a major retail outlet.

Linda said...

I thought you would have said no to that. Of course, I meant 'knowingly'.

Cool! Hope she can handle retail..there's some crazies out there.

So I'm guessing you'll be getting your Costco discount then, am I right?

On the way home from work, I heard Hannity talking with Jerome Corsi (I think that's his name)about Obama's links to the Kenyan political leader who lost the election and started the riots that took place over there for a while earlier this year. Apparently, this Kenyan dude was supporting the Radical Islamic agenda, and Obama (through his office) was advising him in his campaign. I'm not sure if all the details have come out yet, but Corsi was kicked out of Kenya for investigating this. I'll bet Palin will be talking about it pretty soon. McCain seems to be sending her out to do the real attacks on Obama's character and shady connections.

RecknHavic said...

Funny that the MSM hasn't brought that up yet ;)

Agreed, he seems to like lettin the pit bull do the attackin.

Mystery Quote Of The Day

Who said this...

"A countryman between two lawyers is like a fish between two cats."

You did. About 2 minutes ago!

Make that 6

Don't forget to have your picks ready, Mr. Havic. I can't pull in the lead, if I don't have your picks.

RecknHavic said...

Very funny.

51 here right now. That rates a "brr" round these parts.

RecknHavic said...

Hey my "very funny" could apply to both your comments this mornin.

We'll have our picks later Mrs. Olski.

Linda said...

Wow, that does rate a brrr. We're at 48. Supposed to be beautiful here till around Tues. Sunny and around 70.

I really do enjoy that weather radar gadget you have. I check it whenever I go there. I tried to find one w/ the sunrise/sunset times but I haven't.

RecknHavic said...

Thanks.
Wish I could find one w/ a virtual map tho.

Have a good day.

Linda said...

Thanks, I will. Had an awesome GB dream last night. What? I can't help it! I'm sleepin!

You have a good one as well, cuz around 8:00 Reck time, it's aaaalll going downhill. Oh, I'm talkin smack...

Linda said...

fyi, I can't find the color of the green. I'm quite sure it's Behr..I know it's not Sherwin Williams..long story behind that..won't bore you. If I find it, I'll let you know.

RecknHavic said...

Well, for sure you don't want me takin the lead outright, cause when I'm out front, I'm uncatchable :)

A/W story, eh? I'm guessn it had something to do w/ price, cause those guys are outrageously high.

Behr's decent paint.

Linda said...

Alright, the story. We had to get someone to paint that room, cuz it was wallpapered, and when we stripped the wallpaper, there was damage done on the drywall. Chips and whatnot. (Turned into a bigger job than we were prepared for, as we were painting a lot of rooms.) So the painter we got wanted me to pick Sherwin Williams paint..said it went on the best and that's what they preferred to use. Problem was I'd already found this color in Behr and couldn't find one close enough to it in SW. So I made em use Behr. And I'm glad, cuz I love this color and nothin in SW was quite the same.
