This red room only took 7 or so coats of paint to cover. Aaargh. I love this room...globe is to the left, map of US on the right. We just recently got the desk and bookshelves.

Funny, you can't really tell what you'll be able to see when it's all blown up. Geez, I was checkin to make sure you couldn't see account numbers on the bills! (You've trained me, at least a little.)
Oy. Took a page from your playbook and woke up w/ a migrane of my own. Don't know how yours play out, but mine are of the occular variety. I get a blind spot in my peripheral vision and then I pop 3 Advil real quick like to head off the ache. The day's never quite the same, tho. Haven't had one in ages...
Dang, sorry to hear that Lin. Take it real easy today and stay away from bright stuff. Somethin that helped me alot was tonin daown the brightness on my compute (as I'm on it alot). This helped me w/ headaches in general. Hope you're better soon.
Course this coulda been brought on by the Hallow deco pressure :)
Btw, just had a 20 minute convo w/ some Jehovah Witnesses. I really feel for these people. Their hunger for God is apparent, unfortunately the path they chose is a false one.

Yes! I blame you entirely! Decorating pressure..I can't handle it! Went to Party City and got B's costume. A ghoul. He'll be a cool ghoul in school, no doubt. I rhymed. (Still think the past tense of rhyme should be rhome and not rhymed.) K, gonna try and have a kip. :)
Actually, the lamp goes; it just somehow fits. Like the fact that you went to the trouble a paintin the a/c vent (hope you used an alkyd en). And the vase; love the vase.
Um...you're supposed to use a different kinda paint for the register? Oh dear.
I think the webkins were thrown up there so the dog didn't get em!
Reg. the top of the wall...it's weird. The previous owner had the room in pink sponge paint. (Yes, I like pink, but I'm not that wierd). She took the paint and painted about 4 inches in around the ceiling, and then put a small piece of stained molding separating the color from the ceiling. So when we painted, we kept that trim and just changed the color. I don't love it, but it was easier. The house is screaming for crown molding..I might have to learn how to do it someday.
1/3 a the lights won't work on our arch and still gotta string some lights. Tryn to figure a way to get to a tree on far right a house to draw people down our street on Halloween nite. I'll get it.
I saw a couple huge Halloween decs you hang outside at Party City tday. $300 bucks. Can you imagine not having anything better to spend that kinda money on? Seriously, who does that? They were pretty cool, tho. I was considering buyin it, puttin it up, taking a picture for your benefit and returning it. Ok, not really, but that would be funny.
D's sittin at the computer and he yells over to me, "hey, what's that symbol mean on the computer with the colon, then a dash, then one parenthesis?" I go over to see what he's talkin about...the smiley face. Feeling better about yourself? :-)
I was at my gma's the other day and she was talkin about Ramadan. (She lives in the town referred to as Little Lebenon...highest Lebanese pop in the world outside of Lebenon itself). Anyway, she's got no PC filter, so I said, 'well, they have a really different culture', and she goes, 'they're idiots'. Gotta love a 92 yr. old...
Glenn was in rare form this morning while he wasn't on air. Imitating Larry King. sigh...I may have to go to his Christmas show. I told D I wouldn't make him go anymore, but I may need a fix.
I just watch him do the radio show..so I see him when he's not on air talkin to Stu, etc. And when people come in to the studio, you can see them meet him, etc. I saw his daughters once..and I see him talk to his kids on the webcam at his house. Yeah, ok..I'm kinda stalking.
