Kind of a neat thing happened today.
My sister in law's dad died on Sunday evening this last week. At the memorial service today, her brother was doing the eulogy and said that he remembered the sunset at the time that he died. He, with Tamie and other family had left the hospital and were driving home, and they saw this beautiful sunset that was illuminating everything. They called it "Jack's Sunset". It just so happened that this sunset moved me, too, that night..so much so that I went out and tried to get the best picture of it possible. I'm not in the habit of doing this, it was just so pretty.
So I posted it on facebook, which I rarely do, post pics. Tam saw it and realized it was that same sunset and quickly copied it and made copies for her family. She included it in the slide show of pictures of him at the memorial. I was telling a friend, I was so tickled and touched that I managed to do something so meaningful for people I love without even knowing I was doing it. Very cool.
Rest in peace, BG (Big Guy)...I love you!

I have to say..I really love this year's Idol. I know you're not a fan, but wow..the talent this year seems so much better...and I really like the new judges. JLo is so much better than Paula, and it seems less about them and more about the talent. Really likin it. (Oh, you can't tear me away from a singin comp.)
