Here's the new post due to the scrolling on the laptop bein a pain in the a**. Hey! That's the first time I've used asterisks in a post I think!

Ok, here's ours. Geez I almost forgot.

D: Corinne rew, Sugar imm. Matty out

L: Crystal rew, Corinne imm., Susie out.

I keep grabbing the mouse on the mousepad that's not hooked up to anything and trying to find the cursor.

Oh, that was a great one!

Totals:
Old gm:
R-62
L-45
S-44
D-35

New gm:
R-4
S-4
D-3
L- ZERO!!

I got zero in both games, thank you very much. That's virtually impossible.

RecknHavic said...

Oh, it's possible:)

I'm still chucklin! It was fittin he went out that way.

You & S are battlin it out for 2nd, gonna be close.

Let's see, if I hold on and win, and D won last time...hmm..maybe it IS a man's world.

Ok, that was my Randy impersonation ;)

I loved how Sugar couldn't stop laughin. Corinne was steamin.

This is sorta fun. I'm on the floor by the fire, watching tv AND on the computer. "Heaven..I'm in heaven...and my heart beats so, that I can hardly speaaaaak..."

So today I got another Wii controller, and another numchuck (sp?) and a used Bee Movie gm. I think that'll do. My bro's getting them a Star Wars light saber dual game. They'll like that. I'm pretty much done w/ my shopping, btw. Only an on-line buy to send to Seattle and D left. I may get crazy and wrap em this weekend.

My kinda sick freak.

It's cool. Problem is I keep checkin for comments. Notice how quickly I responded? Told D we could forgo fixing the home computer if I could get a pink laptop. (We'll be picking up the computer after they fix it. ;) )

I remember a silly question I wanted to ask you Texans. Do you guys get many Canadian pennies in your change, or is that just us cuz we're neighbors?

RecknHavic said...

Mostly pesos. Every once in awhile I come across a Canadian coin tho.

Well, S and oldest and a couple a friends goin to see midnight showin of Twilight tonite. Apparently it's a chic flick about vampiers. I imagine it'll be a hundred women w/ an occasional boyfriend scattered in. No husbands tho; a guy would only do that when datin. Kinda like when I acted all excited about goin to see Titanic when S and I were datin. Tho it was a pretty good movie.

Anonymous said...

Ha! I've heard of that. The books were supposed to be good. Is the reason for the midnite show that it's coming out on Friday? Last midnight movie I saw was either Rocky Horror or Led Zeppelin's The Song Remains the Same. Yeah, it's been awhile.

Anonymous said...

I might just pay to see you act excited about seeing Titanic.

It was something, tho. That first scene of the boat..er, ship, rivaled how I felt when I saw that first scene of the ship in Star Wars. When it just kept going..and going..

RecknHavic said...

You and your boats.

That's funny, last midnite show I saw was RHPS as well. And that was a loooong time ago.

RecknHavic said...

I'm beat, fixin to crash. Did hire a couple a extra hands for the next few days to try & finish this durn job. Hopin to have it wrapped up by next weds.

Gn and gl w/ your compute.

Anonymous said...

Tell me you did the time warp in front of the screen.

Aw poop. Was hopin you'd wanna stay up and fight over Palin.

We saw the book series (Twilight)at Costco and I asked Carmen what it was about and she said something about Alice in Wonderland??? (A trippy version) Maybe I got that wrong. I guess I'll have to ask my babysitter, she's into the book series. I didn't know it was a chic flick thing. I thought maybe it'd be something I might enjoy. Maybe not.

Nestor said...

I just now got it...asteriks. ha, ha, ha.

Nestor said...

Actually, now that I think about it, it's asterisk isn't it?

RecknHavic said...

Mornin.

That is funny; went right over my head. Thought it might be referin to a South Park episode or somethin. Reminds me a the butcher who backed into the meat grinder. He got a little behind in his work.

RecknHavic said...

Good gravy! It's 16 degrees there and it feels like 1. How can it feel like 1?

RecknHavic said...

Big win for Mich over Bruins, congrats.

Anonymous said...

Ha. I was typing that post and it just occurred to me that it sounded like that. I originally posted it w/out the *s, but then I wimped out and changed it.

It is asterisks, Nestor, but I've noticed most people don't pronounce it like that. Ok, enough about that dumb word.

Anonymous said...

1, eh? That IS cold. Seems like it got cold really fast. I'll have to check if we're below average, cuz I thought November wasn't quite scarf and mitten weather.

Funny butcher joke, Reck!

Just watchin people shovel snow on TWC.

I wanna shovel snow.

Aw, you almost have me feelin bad for you.

Got the puter back. Had to get a new hard drive. So I used the credit card and I went to show the guy my i.d. when he explained that if my credit card is signed, he legally cannot ask for my i.d. I thought that was curious, and it prompted the obvious question. So I asked it. "What if I MADE you look at it...would you get in trouble?" Then I held up an invisible i.d. in front of his face and said "LOOK AT IT!" ha ha. Anyway, his answer was "No. Not at all". I feel the need to pass on what I learn, so there you go.

Anonymous said...

Luckily a couple months ago we bought an external hard drive that's been backing up our stuff every night. We would have lost all of our pictures along w/ everything else, which woulda killed me. I do print pics and make albums, but I also have a lot on the puter. Just a thought for y'all if you don't already do it.

RecknHavic said...

That's a really good idea, which I'll do at some point. When our old compute went out I lost all my old invoices and some other stuff. In fact, I will do this soon.

Didn't know that about cc. Seems kinda stupid really. So what if it's signed. What, a thief,s gonna say, "Oh no, I'm not takin that one, it's SIGNED."

Anonymous said...

I know, I was thinking the same thing.

Hey, when you get a minute, could you post Stan's blog address?

RecknHavic said...

Been enjoyn the fireplace tonite (hey, it's in the low 50s). Got to see my Rockets take out the 1 and 8 Bullets (ok, Washington doesn't use that pc incorect name any more, but to me, they're still the Bullets), watch a Survivorman episode, eat some chinese; it was a good nite.

RecknHavic said...

No!

RecknHavic said...

Ok...if you insist.

Actually I deleted it awhile back. I always go to Nest's (it's on his blogroll) if I want to go there.

Don't you *GET* it??!!

Off to get the girl from trabajo.

Anonymous said...

Oh, ok. I can go there to get it. Didn't think of that.

gn!

Anonymous said...

That does sound like a good nite. Oooh, a fire AND Chinese food. Doesn't get much better than that. What do you get? Ok, I'm really going now.

Any idea how I can increase the size of the font? It got smaller and I've gotta mess around w/ it I guess. Everything on the net looks condensed, compact. Ow. It's starting to bug me.

RecknHavic said...

I'm havin the same problem since I "updated" to firefox 3.0
Used to I couls go to view and increase the size a the writing but still keep page sixe; now the option from view is zoom and the whole page sizw increases, hence left to right scrollin. It's a pain so I leave it alone and squint.

RecknHavic said...

Ok, appaently I cannot spell siqe..I mean sizw...sise

....size..there

I keep meaning to go to carbonite to back up my computer, maybe pretty soon.

Watched IronMan tonight and I was wondering why I didn't go to see it in the theatre. Oh well, there's always IronMan II. I don't think it was better than the Dark Knight, but pretty close. But it was better than Batman Begins. It's tough in movies like that where you have to build the backstory. IronMan II should be freakin' awesome!

RecknHavic said...

Personally, I believe women should do the ironing. Call me old fashioned.

Anonymous said...

"Old fashioned" weren't the words I had in mind.

Didn't see Iron Man. Probably won't. It makes me squeemish to watch men iron. They put more wrinkles in than they take out.

R, if you're not using drug store reading glasses for the computer you're nuts. They're great. I know, I know. You don't need em. Just try it, much less effort.

Anonymous said...

Hey Reck, did you know you can hold down the Ctrl button and twirl the wheel on top of your mouse to change the size of the writing? Check it out.

Nestor said...

Well believe me Reck, Tony Stark doesn't do the ironing. He's called Iron Man because he wears a suit made out of iron. Well I'm sure it's some sort of crazy alloy composite that has iron as a base, but I think you get the point. I'm not sure why I felt the need to *CLARIFY* that for you, but maybe I was just bored at that moment.

Nestor said...

Linda, YOU ROCK!!!!

I've wondered how to do that. At work, people mess the screen up all the time and I didn't know how to fix it. THANKS!!!

Anonymous said...

You're welcome! Hooray, I helped someone today!

RecknHavic said...

You mighta helped out Nest but you just made life WAY more complicated for me. I'll be fidgetin w/ the screen size for a freakin month now.

Thanks alot.

Oh be quiet. You're happy and you know it. (clap your hands.)
