Skating By
The boys are embarking on a new adventure....rollerblading! D picked up some at a garage sale and they went to town. Yesterday I got em knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards. Hey, you're lucky they're not wrapped in bubble wrap. And yes...Tony bungee corded a pillow around his bum. He doesn't do anything like a normal kid..we've come to accept it. :)

I've never roller bladed. Tried skatin once, that was plenty.
The pillow on the bum is hilarious! That's one unique kiddo.

I used to rollerskate a lot as a kid, but when rollerblading became the thing I really wasn't into it anymore.

My boys think we need the Touch n Brush" for $19.99 plus shipping and handling,now. Cuz it's soooo hard to squeeze toothpaste out of the tube.

Your boys did well, looks rather tough; you gotta keep up the speed, BUT, then when you fall you fall harder. Brave kids! Was hopin for the pillow/butt cushion vid tho :)

1) a live shot of your cul-de-sac; very homey lookin hood
2) your van (colors more vibrant than the still pics ive seen)
3) Hearin D shut it down for an "in the park home run"
4)a shot of the Hummer
5) witnessin that you people do actually wear shorts
6) brief glimpse of the fishin boat
7) seein grass thats "naturally" green
8) watchin B crawl on his hands to the grass; innovative that one
9) no traffic noise in the background
& 10) seein T make it acroos from the get-go

I can't believe the longest day of year has already past. This cool weather is killing Summer Linda. Fall's gonna be here before you know it, and I won't be ready for it cuz it hasn't been hot! This week is supposed to be beautiful..but still in the 70's..which normally I'd be thrilled about, but when you're out on the lake to swim, you want it to be hot! I know I'm complaining to the wrong people. And I'll complain again when it gets hot..but that's what we do best in MI.
I'm done.
